Virtual Assistant Attention Detection
The goal of this project was to develop a novel system to provide a more natural interface for interacting with virtual assistant devices.
What is QMIND?
QMIND is Canada's largest undergraduate organization on AI. Each year we lead 250+ students on teams of 4-6 students through AI Research, AI Ethics, Computer Vision, Human-computer Interaction, Healthcare, NLP, Reinforcement Learning, and Consulting Projects, solving real world problems for industry clients. We foster students passionate about changing the world using AI and data science. We host CUCAI, Canada's largest AI conference, with 340+ delegates in 2025 and industry leading companies. We incubate startups from the ground up. We disrupt & innovate.
